About the Game

Red Frontier is a sci-fi survival adventure set on Mars in 2040. As a Resource Scout, you must explore deep into Mars landscape, gather critical resources, manage your oxygen supply, and defeat unknown threats to power your colony’s life-supporting dome.  (This game was initially created for the It's Based Game Jam; development may potentially continue afterwards, as the initial process was accelerated for the jam.)

Story  

Story Humans have started to colonize mars the first few years and want to expand the mars city to be able to advance its technology. To expand the mars first human colony, we must power our dome to increase production of plants and expand the length of breathable air distance without a suit. As a Resource Scout, you’re sent to gather materials to make progress in powering the dome, but the job takes a change as you discover you aren't alone. A unknown sleeping threat awakens from Mars’ ancient past.
